Title character “Wet Head Miss” is Irena Borowska, a preppy girl full of life and energy. A 13-year-old lives joyful and lighthearted life, running around neighborhood with his faithful four-legged friend, dog Drab.

She is everywhere, interested of everything, wanting to know what is going on in family mansion. Meanwhile a storm is coming to Borowski family house. The action takes place during the Great Depression of the 30s. Family's falls into ruin. Irenka decides to help her mother and without saying a word leaves to Warsaw, to visit her rich aunt. Unfortunately, she is not at home, having left to Zakopane. Irenka follows her, but still fails to meet her. But soon the fortune comes back to the young girl.
